some favorites to show you

good morning...the plant below I bought cause I loved the thingy that the flower sits in. I can't remember what it is but it grows beautifully on the side of my house that has no sun and it flowers...next time I will show you the flowers. click on the pics and you get a better view


I love the color of these poppies that splashe of red in sidet he gorgeous pink

and then we have the princess (Molly) at her window... she is so beautiful and that tail is always up. I am sitting down at the computer from here.

this is the tree in our front yard.. when I moved here it was a bald area around the tree with a little care and the tree trimed up it looks so much better. you can see my guy in the rocks there. White Rose used to be around the corner from us and they closed all the stores (garden craft center) I sure miss it.. they had great garden toys and this was one of them.. he kinda looks like my DH...LOL

Vacation Pics!!

I was on vacation last week and went to Mom and Dad's we had a wonderful time of weeding and eating and taking care of a 3yr old boy from next door. I will show you some pics.

here is my Dad with Austin (the 3yr old next door) and Tixie Austin's pup (this dog is a true nanny it is amazing how these 2 play together and no one gets hurt Mom is in the background. Austin calls them Grampa Bill and Granma Karen..when he sees them he goes running full force and just gives the biggest hug!! I laugh cause he pats you on the back like everything is a-okay!!

Dad's Birthday was on Jun 29th and has turned 81 yrs young!! He is working on a special project right now I will show you them on my quilting blog. http://www.patchworksanity.blogspot.com
He has been working hard on these and planning they turned out absolutely wonderful. I love them!! Mom said Dad was so worried about them and whether I would like them or not.. love them!!


We ate out with wonderful friends the second night they have been very helpful with my parents and PIPI and Mary have a wonderful farm..they are retired and their son owns it now but they live on the land still.. nice setup I would say. Last time we were there PIPI gave us a bunch of cedars that mother and I planted..PIPI started them from his that are already on his land. Great history passing it on

These gorgeous turbines are in a lower part of Ontario.. Blenheim way and there are many.. the stand as sentinals in the fields.. many of them this is only a couple of them.. I would say there were about 40-50 of them.. just amazing.. if you want to see them and are in Ontario drive along the Talbot Trail.. a lovely piece of road to drive through

I wanted to post some of the clematis close up.. they are really beautiful and so full.. they grow in a small (very small plot of dirt and they are thriving these 3 colors are together

You can see my hand next to one of them and see how large they are!!

this is Nosey she is peeking through the hole of one of their trees.. and I can see there is some cat hair to come off.. better do that now..Nosey is a lap cat as soon as I sit at the computer she lays there on my lap.. if I start typing and ignore her she does something nasty...she lets a stinky fart.. and I mean stinky..not always a lady.. but then I don't forget she is there...

This is the handsome dude.. this is Joey..look at those markings.. he looks almost silver and grey
He will jumb and stand on the edge of this tree and put his paws up on the other box and look at me with that taill sticking right out as if to say my back is ready for rubs..mum-mum...this is right next to my computer and he loves when I sit here..when I am uploading pics he get pets and rolls over so that I can pet his bare belly..from the day I got him he has licked the hair off his belly..no matter what food...see the blanket on his bed..those I can get at the dollars store and they are quite large...

So that is 2 of the kitties so far.. the header is Molly... and that picture just tells it all...

I pulled some weeds today while the BBQ was on..first time BBQ'n for me this year normally I am one of the first to set fire...I had a craven for a cheese burger and that is just what I had!! It was delicious with one of those big cheese buns...

how does your garden grow??

First thing is first it is my mother's birthday today..so a big Birthday wish from a daughter who loves her very, very much!! this pic was taken about 2 years ago of both of us together.. I love this top on mom!!

Well summer is coming in about 2 weeks it will be the offical day and I have just started weeding.. but I have started so that is the word for today...I have alot more to do that I will get done in the next couple of days cause once I start days I will not have time.

I love working nights cause this is when I get my favorite things done...this is why you see me post many posts and then a dry spell.. working days I feel like I am running from the time I get up until I drop to bed...I know I am not the only one.. but let see some lifting flower pics

I thought this a strange color poppy most of mine are pink but i love the purple and orange together like this and they are HUGE!!

My clematis will always remind me of my mothers garden on the lake she always had these.. and also her house now.. but I love how the three colors come together..
what's left of my irises.. and the coral bells.. the plant on both sides is supposed to be night shade. My mom gave me this and said the leaves will die and then a beautiul flower will appear.. we will wait together to see what happens.
